Reports suggest that Maruti Suzuki is investing around ₹250 crore to strengthen India’s EV ecosystem, with a focus on making ownership easier for future e-Vitara buyers. The fund will support a nationwide charging network and strong digital services. Exclusive chargers are being installed through dealerships so even first-time EV users never worry about charging. This move brings real confidence and excitement for those dreaming of going electric.

Target of 1 lakh charging points by 2030

The company has a powerful vision to build a network of over 1 lakh public charging points by 2030, partnering with dealers and charge point operators nationwide. More than 2,000 exclusive chargers are currently operational in more than 1,100 cities, providing e-Vitara users with robust support even when traveling between cities. Every prospective EV driver benefits from this expanding coverage in terms of comfort, confidence, and true freedom.

‘e for me’ app will make EV ownership easier

The goal of Maruti Suzuki’s new “e for me” app is to make EV ownership completely digital and intelligent. With this app, users can easily locate nearby charging stations, book a charging slot, and pay instantly using UPI or wallet. It also supports home charger management, in-car integration, and partner CPO access—letting drivers control both home and public charging from one simple platform.

Over 1,500 EV-ready workshops and service on wheels

The company has already set up over 1,500 EV-ready service workshops across India, equipped with specially trained technicians for high-voltage systems. Along with this, more than 500 ‘Service on Wheels’ units have been upgraded for EV support, ensuring quick help in remote areas or during on-road emergencies. Every driver now has genuine peace of mind thanks to this.

Battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh packs

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will offer two battery pack options—49 kWh and 61 kWh—giving buyers the freedom to choose the range and performance that best suits their needs. The smaller pack comes with a single-motor FWD setup, while the larger pack supports the powerful dual-motor AllGrip-e AWD system, making it a premium choice for SUV lovers who seek power, control, and excitement in every drive.

Strong range and Delhi-Chandigarh route coverage

The company claims that the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will have an ARAI-certified range of over 543 km on a single charge, making highway trips and long journeys truly practical. The company says that the Delhi-Chandigarh route can be covered by the e-Vitara on a single charge, although 63 charging points are already active on this corridor.

Bharat NCAP 5-star safety and Heartect-e platform

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has received a 5-star safety rating in the India NCAP crash test, making it one of the safest EVs in its segment. Built on Suzuki’s new Heartect-E platform, this SUV focuses on robust structural safety, enhanced crash protection, and secure high-voltage safety, giving buyers real confidence with every drive.

Safety package of Level-2 ADAS and 7 airbags

Safety takes center stage in the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, offering Level-2 ADAS with Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control. With 7 airbags, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, it delivers true confidence and peace of mind on every drive.

Delta, Zeta and Alpha variant line-up

According to Bharat NCAP documents and early reports, the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is expected to launch in three variants—Delta, Zeta, and Alpha—each offering different features and battery options. Zeta and Alpha will probably have a 61 kWh battery, high-end features, and a complete ADAS suite, while Delta will be the entry-level model. This makes the selection process simpler and more thrilling by providing buyers with clear options ranging from affordable to fully loaded top-spec options.
